Two ways to host

A cloud server of your own, or a server you bring. What differs and how to choose.

The pages, the backups, the deploys and the logs are the same wherever Odoo runs. What differs is who owns the machine, how Odoo is installed on it, and what it costs.

Your own cloud server

A server we create for your team alone, in one of 6 regions, and keep secured and updated. Odoo is installed directly on it: a source checkout, a system user, a PostgreSQL role, a systemd service and an nginx site with a Let's Encrypt certificate per instance, all sharing one PostgreSQL tuned to the hardware.

  • Odoo 17.0, 18.0, 19.0, 20.0, Community or Enterprise. Older versions need an older Python than current systems ship.
  • Pay per server, from 11 EUR a month, with as many instances as fit.
  • A terminal in the browser, SSH keys of your own, monitoring, PostgreSQL tuning.
  • Odoo can be pinned to a dated build, and every repository stays on its commit until you update it.

Bring your own server

Any Ubuntu (22.04 or newer) or Debian (12 or newer) server you can reach over SSH, wherever it is: a fresh one that gets the same setup as a cloud server, a server in your own Hetzner project, or one that already runs Odoo and is adopted as it is. Everything the cloud server has, on hardware you pay someone else for.

  • 5 EUR a month per server.
  • Add a Hetzner API token on the Team page to create servers in your own project, and to reboot, snapshot and back them up from here.
  • Leaving is a disconnect that leaves the server running as it is, with an option to take our key off it.
