Privacy policy
oCloud hosts and operates Odoo for its customers. This policy describes what data we handle and why.
Account and service data
We store your name, email address and the settings of your team, servers and instances. Secrets such as SSH keys and access tokens are stored encrypted. The contents of your Odoo databases stay on your servers and in your backups; we do not read them.
Google user data
- What is accessed: when you connect Google Drive we request the
drive.filepermission only. It lets us create files in your Drive and read, change or delete the files we created ourselves. We cannot see any other file in your Drive, and we read your email address only to show which account is connected. - How it is used: solely to store the backups of your instances, to restore from them and to delete the ones that expired or that you removed.
- Storage: the Google sign-in token is stored encrypted on our servers. Your Odoo servers never receive it; they get a one-time upload address or a short-lived access token for a single backup or restore.
- Sharing: Google user data is not shared with, sold to or transferred to any third party. It is not used for advertising and not used to train any AI or machine-learning model.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
Scheduled backups are deleted after the retention period you choose; manual backups are kept until you delete them. Disconnecting Google Drive on the team page deletes the stored token. You can also revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions and delete the backup folder in your Drive at any time. Deleting your account removes your account data.
